# Staff Controlled Characters

We want players entering Anime Universe to feel as if they're genuinely entering another world. We've seen this accomplished before, not in video games but in amusement parks that hire people to impersonate popular characters. But, of course, we can not operate the same way because the servers will be online 24/7.

Instead, certain staff members will control certain NPCs from time to time. While our staff are not in control, the NPCs will be limited to specific dialog options.
